Discovered your web site yesterday. In late February my wife and I flew to Rome, took a train to Naples, and next day took a train to Pisciotta to check out her family roots. Grandpa Romano and his wife (maiden name Greco) came to the US after WWI from Pisciotta. They lived in Amsterdam on West Main Street and that's where my wife and I grew up. Now we live in Marietta GA just outside of Atlanta.

We got off the train and just missed the bus to the city so we walked along the coast toward the marina and made a left to climb the stairs up the back side of the city. What a climb and what views on the way up. Managed to miss the bus on the way back also so walked back to the train station via the long winding road. We sure got our exercise that day.

We spent days on the internet before our trip trying to find info on Pisciotta and there wasn't much there. Had we found your site we probably would have stayed at a hotel down there rather than Naples and spent more time enjoying the wonderful smells and views.
