Time is mankind's greatest excuse. How many times have you said or
heard these words: There's not enough time. It takes too much time.
I don't have time. It's too late. It's too soon. The time just
passed.
Ben Franklin said, "Dost thou love life? Then
do not squander time, for that's the stuff life is made of."
Time is a precious, non-renewable resource. Once it is spent, it is
gone forever. So do not waste time lamenting time passed or the
expanse of time until an event.
If you use your time wisely, it does not matter when you begin or
how long it will take to accomplish your goal. Only the present is
within our control, so concentrate on today and design your actions
with an eye to the future.
Spend your time as you would your money. Waste time on small,
unimportant tasks now and you will have nothing to show for it
later. Or, invest your time to build a worthwhile life now, and reap
the reward when many days have passed. The choice is yours.
